Position Summary

This person will play a critical role in E2E planning and ESOP transformation. The role will support establishing new processes and KPIs across the planning organization that will allow us to identify risk and opportunity and be able to better respond to market shifts. This leader will drive the standard operating process to yield transparent, responsible forecasting & inventory management worldwide. Responsibilities span all product categories, regional geographies & channels of business. Additionally, this position will ensure the executive leadership team has continuous visibility of risks & opportunities in the 18 months ahead by reporting content across various levels, functions & regions to deliver business-critical information to executives, curated to enable informed & timely decisions

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Support End to End Transformation
    • Establish, track and report on new KPIs for E2E planning and inventory management (e.g. forecast accuracy, in stock availability etc.)
    • Review and optimize parameters to drive improvements in demand and inventory planning (e.g. product segmentation, dynamic safety stock, etc.)
    • Support the roll out of new tools and systems for demand, assortment and supply planning
    • Work with global and regional teams on training and education to support new process and KPI tracking
  • Dictate the Operating Rhythm of the Global S&OP and ES&OP Process:
    • Maintain rolling 6+ month forward-looking view
    • Partner with Planning Ops & GTM to establish monthly Forecast Pass & Buy dates that leverage learnings of key GTM milestones
    • Oversee the sequencing & scheduling of all Demand Reviews (4/month), Demand/Supply Reviews (4/month) and Regional S&OP’s (4/month)
    • Optimize the timing of ES&OP relative to ExComm, QBR, Quarterly Earnings and other potential ELG conflicts
    • Coordinate required ES&OP Prep meetings with relevant teammates & leaders
  • Continually Enhance the Monthly ES&OP Meeting Content to Yield Data-Driven Decisions and an Effective Action Plan:
    • Establish standard KPI’s and content that will be covered each month. Assign ownership to stakeholders across functions (GTM, Supply Chain, Categories, FP&A…) and Regions. Drive accountability for timely submission in required formats.
    • Curate “special topics” run of show each month, including hot-button issues or time-sensitive decisions needed. Assign ownership & communicate expectations. Drive accountability for timely submission in required formats.
    • Ensure accurate record and distribution of meeting minutes. Identify follow-up action required and assign specific owners and deadlines. Check status with owners throughout the month and continually report status in monthly ES&OP until action is completed
  • Serve as the functional leader and expert for Forecasting and Inventory management across all business units:
    • Establish & document the standard operating process for forecasting and inventory management in the Regions including target-setting, meeting cadence, reporting & mitigation strategies.
    • Standardize tracking tools across all regions to enable consistent KPI’s (accuracy, point-in-time value & growth %, turn, quality, aged, etc.) and an efficient roll-up to a global number.
    • Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory levels through the monthly S&OP process to ensure regions are in line with AOP inventory targets. Present inventory metrics to executives in ES&OP.
    • Drive forecasting and inventory analytics (ABCD, SS,WOS) and develop and present opportunities for improvement
    • Collaborate with the COO, CFO and Regional MD’s to establish forecast accuracy and Inventory targets at the right level down to article
    • Determine category, product segment, region-level inventory targets that will yield desired total company turn, while still enabling each region to achieve their revenue and margin targets.
  • Drive collaboration across global and regional teams. With a broad perspective & understanding of the enterprise, participate in task forces, project teams, consulting engagements and advisory panels that are cross-functional in nature.


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Proven success in business process optimization
  • Ability to drive change and transformation across different stakeholders
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience
  • Strong business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue and Margin
  • Confidence in clearly presenting to executives and large groups
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience participating in an S&OP process
  • Experience with inventory and forecast optimization
  • Experience using and/or implementing advanced tools and system for planning and inventory management
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Experience running an S&OP process
  • Experience with $5B – 10B+ businesses

Education And / Or Experience
  • 10+ Years Experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Operations, and/or Finance functions
  • Professional development through IBF or related organizations is preferred
Other Requirements
  • Location: 2 days per week in-office, the rest of the week remote.
  • Travel: 5-10% of the year
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certifications such as APICS, CPF, ACPF, etc. are preferred
Salary and Relocation

Relocation may be provided

Base salary range: $125,242.00 - $172,208.30

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
